About the Class
In this class, you will explore the fundamentals of beekeeping, perfect for individuals eager to embark on their hobby beekeeping journey. The course includes essential topics such as the basic biology of honey bees, hive dynamics, necessary equipment to get started, various hive styles, ideal land placement, and a step-by-step setup guide. It also covers purchasing nuc's, understanding threats to bees, and the essentials of feeding, caring for, and maintaining their health and vitality.
We will also provide vital information about pollinator habitats and outline steps you can take in your backyard and beyond to support our buzzing friends!
We will offer coffee and tea and snacks you will receive a beekeeping book and there will be a giveaway at the end
